Hi there, I’m Cat Saunders and this is my little slice of wedding goodness. I like sewing, hot showers, cold oceans, my husband, pretty much all music except country, piccolo lattes; and travelling in planes trying to guess what I’m looking at below. I also have a little thing for weddings and marriage and have been known to exclaim that I love love.
When organising my wedding I found so much inspiration on wedding blogs from The States like Once Wed, Ruffled and Green Wedding Shoes. I found so many great ideas, beautiful stories and so much pretty photography; I definitely could not have lived without them.
I decided to write One lush day as a bit of a different take on weddings. Don’t stress – there will still be real wedding stories and beautiful photography but I also want this to be a space for people to come that want something different. Here you’ll see that weddings do not have to be all about cake, tulle and bling – weddings can (and should) be personal, unique, inspiring, fun, edgy and most of all accessible to all involved. Because of this, the things that I write about on One lush day might not necessarily be from the wedding industry as I find inspiration all over the place – I hope you like them too!
